Social Responsibility Assessment
Atlantic Lottery has a Social Responsibility Assessment (SRA) program in place to assist in decision making across the organization. From new advertising campaigns to product launches, Atlantic Lottery’s SRA is used by all our employees to ensure our approach to social responsibility is standardized.
19+ Brand Standards
In Atlantic Canada, lottery products are only available for purchase to those who are 19 years of age or older. In keeping with our strong commitment to responsible gaming, Atlantic Lottery has robust 19+ Brand Standards. These standards provide clear direction on how the 19+ and responsible play messages should be reflected in the design and delivery of our products.
Responsible Gambling
Responsible gambling is one of Atlantic Lottery’s core values. As RG is a key focus area for the organization, Atlantic Lottery provides a collection of tips and tools to help players make informed decisions when they play, helping them to keep their play for fun and entertainment. In recognition of Atlantic Lottery’s commitment to responsible gambling, the corporation has earned two world-class RG accreditations.
World Lottery Association (WLA) Level IV Certification
Atlantic Lottery has been granted level IV certification of the WLA’s Responsible Gambling Framework. To earn this highest level of certification, AL was evaluated on 10 program elements by a panel of Social Responsibility experts from around the world. The corporation has maintained this certification for more than a decade.
Responsible Gambling (RG Check)
RG Check is an accreditation program for casinos created by the Responsible Gambling Council (RGC). It is the most comprehensive responsible gambling accreditation program in the world and it offers gaming companies an opportunity for independent endorsement of the quality of our RG safety net. Atlantic Lottery’s online alc.ca platform and Red Shores Racetrack and Casino in Charlottetown, P.E. have both been awarded the RG Check Accreditation.
